I have a fulfilling life with my wife Sabrina. After 30+ years in Palm Springs I moved to the high desert 6 years ago - one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! The environment and slower pace are important to me and things I really enjoy. We are members of the Mojave Desert Land Trust and place a high value of importance in protecting this fragile area. When I can, I escape to nearby Joshua Tree National Park or the Mojave National Wildlife Preserve.
Mojave National Preserve Old movies, old cars, and just about any kind of real music are also things that bring me pleasure, but my happy place now is my home studio where there are no limits to accessing my creativity. Who knows what I will create next!

Though I have always had an attraction to drafting and architectural drawings, it was not until I joined Palm Springs Art Museum, as a member, volunteer, and employee, that I found myself surrounded by a group of artists that would become family and help me turn my attraction into what is now my art. Key in my discovery was Ellie Smith, who opened my eyes to working with glass. Ellie is no longer with us but will always be in my heart. A photo of her hangs in my studio and inspires me daily.
